I have to say that it is pretty cool being an uncle! Especially when you get to hang out with a little joy like this.

I am blessed
I don't want to become all sappy for my few readers, but I must reflect on my last few weeks of life and what has gone on.
First of all, this might not be news to my regular readers (andrew), but I am currently dating a lovely little lady. Her name is Brittany and she is wonderful! We met at FPU and have just had a great time hanging out with each other and getting to know more about each other and our crazy families. The irony of this whole thing is I was finally at a point (after almost 2 1/2 years) that I was not concerned about a relationship or anything and all of a sudden Brittany came along. It has been a pleasant suprise that I did not see coming!
On the continuing home front I was super blessed this last week. So I finally got my keys to my house last week and I have been trying to find a cheap fridge and maybe some furniture. Well, God was definately looking out! One of my best friends, Luke, worked with a guy who was wanting to clear some space out of his garage that included a fridge, loveseat, sofa chair and ottoman. I will be honest, I was not expecting this stuff to be that nice. WOW! I was blown away when I saw all this furniture and fridge. It was very nice and he gave it to me cheap which was a blessing to my wallet! Oh and for you girls, the furniture goes with my design idea of my living room!! ;)
So to wrap this all up I would just like to thank all of you that have been praying and looking out for this poor soul. I really appreciate all my family and friends that have truly been a blessing to me!
p.s. There will be a house warming party in the future, but I first need to get situated and get the essentails i.e. BBQ

New House
Friday, October 26, 2007
Wow
Well like I stated, I would probably not be blogging much during the month of October due to travel and being busy. However, part of that is true, but a large part has been my complete laziness and not wanting to spend the time putting any of my thoughts to writing. So here goes a shot.
I have really been able to see what a blessing my new job has been. Unlike many jobs I have had I actually like going to work and have been working many 15+ hour days and it has been fun. (Although that is the curse of salary) I am now getting to work with prospective students and meet them which has been awsome because just talking on the phone gets old after awhile. We have also been going through many changes in the office with personel which has really made us come together as an even stronger team. I have only been here about 7 weeks now and I feel like it has been 7 months.
On another note I was able to buy a house!!! I really did not think that would happen anytime in the near future. It is a scary yet incredibly exciting time because it is a great investment, but a HUGE financial undertaking! It is hard to think that I will be paying for this thing the next 30 years of my life. Whew!! (Deep breath).
Well that is about all I can get out at this point. So until next time, stay classy my bloggers!!
Over and Out

Really Myspace?
Just a little Welcome
I must preface this blog and say I am not sure how much time I will be blogging during October. I recently started a new job at Fresno Pacific as Admissions Counselor and October will be filled with travel, travel, travel!
With that in mind here we go!
I must start with the elephant in the blog right off and just say how much of a blessing my new job is! Not only am I working with great people at a great University, but I am liking what I am doing. I must say thanks to Luke and Jenn my dear friends that told me about the job opening, otherwise I probably would have never applied and still be working killing mosquitos!
I definately see the hand of God in getting this job. I was getting to a point where the summer was nearing the end and I still didn't have anything solid lined up. I had substitute teaching to fall back on (God bless all you subs!), but that is not something to build a career on. I actually had about 3 days to complete my application and resume before I left to the Dominican Republic for 2 weeks. I got it done with the help of my mother (thanks a ton) reading over it and making corrections. But the rest is history.
I will probably have many updates throughout my travel in LA for all those lovely college fairs! So come back soon for future updates.
